Where your support goes
The site is independent and runs without display ads. Most of the cost is time: researching primary sources, compiling and verifying data, writing the software, and testing it against real firings. Hosting, the domain, and the newsletter SMTP come out of pocket.
When contributions open, money sent here will buy hours that would otherwise go to other work: new tools, more posts, and more time spent making the existing ones better. That is the whole budget.
Ways to chip in
